Gravity Maze
Gravity Maze
A physics-based puzzle game where you guide a ball through a series of rotating discs to reach the golden ring. Each level presents new challenges with moving platforms and gravity-defying obstacles.
Controls:
- Arrow keys OR WASD to rotate the disc
- Guide the ball through the discs
- Avoid falling off the platforms
- Reach the golden ring to win
Note: This game was entirely "VIBE CODED".
- I used "Cursor.ai". This is really wicked...
- It even came up with the game's title on its own.
- At some point, I asked question (the recommended dimensions). Cursor can only answer with coding, so it just added my answer in the game's instructions. I just rolled with it and left it into the game.
- On top of that, the suggested dimensions were wrong, as it caused the [Start Game] button to not be visible, so I had to adjust.
- This is my first experience with vibe coding with cursor. It's sometimes frustrating, at times liberating. It's pretty much like asking a blind genius junior engineer who can code pretty much code anything, but is unable to test or view the result of its own code.
- Not sure how often I would repeat that experience....
GameDev.js challenges:
- Open source. Code available at: https://github.com/jacklehamster/gravity-maze
- $Noods: Hum... it's not phaser.js, but it was entirely vibe coded. Kinda forgot about the phaser part.
Filmed the whole experience:
